We're very cool, take our word for it

Named after the sailboat
And translating to Precious Posession.

Built in New Zealand
and made to last the entire voyage
After plenty of fun in Manchester, we felt the pull to travel and eventually landed in New Zealand in 2020.
We quickly fell in love with the mountains, lakes and people here and never looked back. Surrounded by inspiring landscapes, a passion for jewellery and a desire to create, we set up Kahurangi Jewellery.
Named after the iconic sailboat that Sophie’s father lovingly rebuilt and captained across the seas, Kahurangi means 'Precious Possession' in Māori, the mother tongue of New Zealand, where our journey first set sail.
Inspired by the lines of geometry, precise and orderly, like angles of a compass or the structure of a nautical chart mixed with the free flowing movements of water.
Our pieces explore the interplay between precision and fluidity to craft the most precious of possessions.
